This exciting program gives children a strong base of scriptural learning, and teaches a balance of Christ-like behavior through group activities. The AWANA club is set up in three phases:

 

Game Time	Teaches teamwork and sportsmanship
Handbook Time	Guides kids in learning Bible verses, and gives them opportunites to demonstratetheir understanding, supported with an award system
Council Time	Brings Bible stories alive to the children in a group time, with emphasis on salvation and missions

 

AWANA begins at 6:00 each Wednesday through the school year.  The children are  divided by age, with "Cubbies" for the preschoolers, and elementary age children plug in as "Sparks", (Kindergarten - 2nd grade) and "Truth in Training" (3rd - 6th grade), alternating time schedules to involve all the children through the different club phases.
