Making Him Known Within & Beyond Calvary Baptist Church

"His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known... according to His eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord."  Ephesians 3:10-11

Calvary has an active outreach ministry, which seeks to contact visitors, as well as newcomers and those who are home bound.  Those who are interested in writing notes or letters, making phone calls, praying or visiting with those in need of a personal contact are encouraged to contact the church office for more information.

For many years, Calvary has had an active CD Ministry, and by duplicating service CDs each week, they are able to reach many who are unable to attend our worship services.  If you have missed a service, or would like to keep memorable worship events, contact the church office to request CDs as needed at a cost of $1.00 each.

THE MISSION is a local ministry led by one of Calvary's members, Tom Beauregard, under the direction of Christian Family and Youth Services, and provides an oasis of love in our community.  Located at 180 E. Central Avenue in downtown Winter Haven, THE MISSION seeks to assist the needy by providing food, meals, clothing and household items.  This ministry depends onvolunteers for assistance with organizing and supplying funds, as well as materials, and those who have a heart for those in need, are encouraged to contact Tom at (863) 299-2348 to become involved.

"Youth For Christ of Polk County" preaches the life-changing message of Jesus, reaching out to troubled teens and their families. YFC's Executive Director, Mike Young, can be contacted for information regarding this great ministry at (863) 324-9220.
